HONEY WALNUT CAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • ⅔ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • In a bowl, cream together butter, sugar and egg.
  • Add flour gradually.
  • Stir in chopped walnuts.
  • Place half of the dough into a greased cake pan, pressing down
  • Drizzle honey over surface of dough.
  • Cover with remaining dough.
  • Bake in 350° oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
