INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 eggs
- salt and pepper
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1/2 c. shredded cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven according to pizza dough instructions. Scramble the eggs and cook the bacon (I cook the bacon in the microwave while the eggs are cooking to save time). Be sure to sprinkle the eggs generously with salt and pepper.
- Unroll the pizza dough and use a rolling pin to roll it into a 12 inch by 10 inch rectangle. Cut the dough in half vertically and then in half horizontally to form four rectangles. The rectangles should be about five by six inches.
- Cut each bacon slice in half and place both pieces on half of the dough. Place one quarter of the scrambled eggs on top of the bacon and top with two tablespoons of cheese. Fold half of the dough over the cheese and use a fork to seal the calzone closed.
- Bake according to pizza dough directions, or until calzones are golden. Serve warm- they’re wonderful dipped in salsa!
