CHEAP & SIMPLE NACHOS

Ingredients
One 16-ounce bag tortilla chips
1-2 cups salsa, to taste
1-2 cups shredded cheese, to taste (cheddar or Mexican blend work great)
Optional Additions: blacks beans, browned ground beef, shredded chicken, sliced black olives, banana peppers, pickled jalapeños
Optional Toppings: sliced green onions, cilantro, sour cream, chopped tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread tortilla chips in a messy, imperfect layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Dollop the tortilla chips with salsa. Top with any additions. Sprinkle with an even layer of cheese. 
  4. Bake nachos for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Add desired optional toppings.
